WTF Events, Mimosa Girls and or STRUT (“WTF Events”), is a California based Sole proprietorship, dedicated to the presentation of a wide variety of LGBTQ+ events, productions of music, dance and theater to the people of Southern California. WTF EVENTS is committed to supporting artistic expression on all our stages and offering unsurpassed experiences, engaging the entire community in new and exciting ways through the unique power of live performance and an array of inspiring programs.
We believe that transparency is important and understand that you care about your privacy interests. This privacy notice describes WTF EVENTS’s policies and practices regarding the collection and use of your personal data and sets forth your privacy rights. Because information privacy is an ongoing responsibility, we will update this privacy notice from time to time as we implement or adopt new privacy policies.

2. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Data (Summary)
WTF EVENTS collects personal information about its members, customers, and visitors to our Site. Most often, this information is related to general contact information like your name, address, telephone number, email address, as well as general details of your purchase or contribution. We use this information to provide you with the goods and services you request. We do not sell your personal information to anyone, but sometimes share it with third parties who are facilitating our services.
Some of the personal data we request from you is required in order for you to use our Sites, including ordering products and/or services through them. The Personal Information You Give to Us:
Creating an Account: When you create an account with us, we collect information about you including (but not limited to) your name, address, telephone number and your email address. For security purposes, we also require that you create a secure password. We process this information to give you access to our My Account features that allow you to update your contact information, renew your membership or season tickets and get personalized show recommendations. We also use your address to help verify purchases associated with your billing accounts. Account holders may possibly edit certain details in their profile to change, add, or remove personal information.
Processing a Financial Transaction: When you purchase tickets or other goods offered, make a donation, or authorize any other type of financial transaction, we process your contact information as well as your billing address and billing account information. We use this information for processing your orders. For security purposes billing info is encrypted and stored in a secure system. While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
Your Correspondence with Us: If you correspond with us by email, text, the postal service, or other form of communication, we may retain such correspondence and the information contained in it and use it to respond to your inquiry; to notify you of events, publications, or other services; or to keep a record of your complaint, and accommodation request. Note: if you ask us not to contact you by email at a certain email address, we will retain a copy of that email address on its “master do not send” list in order to comply with your no-contact request.
Customer Service Communications: We offer a live chat feature to help provide you with the best customer service we can offer. If you choose to use this feature, we may collect specific information about you necessary to communicate with you and respond to your customer services requests. When you call one of our customer service representatives, or e-mail us with a comment or question, you may be asked for information that identifies you, such as your name, mailing address, order number, postal code and/or telephone number, to help us promptly answer your question. We retain this information as necessary to assist you in the future, for instance with any further queries you may have. Collection from Third Parties: On occasion we receive personal information about individuals from third parties. This may happen if a corporate partner provides the names of its employees. Additionally, we may receive your personal information from third parties based on your interest in organizations similar to ours. If we send you marketing communications based on this information, you have the right to opt-out.
Promotions or Surveys: When you enter a contest or sweepstakes ("promotion") or participate in a survey or poll ("survey") we may ask you to provide your name, address, phone number and e-mail address. Sometimes we use third-party services to administer and administer and conduct our promotions, so if you use those services when participating in a promotion the policies, including privacy notices, of those third-parties will apply in addition to ours. We use the information we collect on promotion entry forms to administer your participation in the promotions and for other purposes stated on the entry form. For example, if you purchase VIP package tickets, we may need to share personal information with a third party distributor for the purpose of sending you VIP package merchandise.

We are committed to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Our Sites are not directed to children under the age of 13. While we do collect personal information about children in relation to enrollment in our summer camps, ABT Gillespie School, and the School of Dance & Music. We do not collect the information from the children themselves. All of our enrollment forms must be filled out by a parent or guardian and must be submitted with the appropriate parental consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without parental consent.
